The Date and Venue have been set for our 55th RHS Class Reunion

February 18, 2017

As promised throughout much of last year, we are now ready to announce the date and place for our 55th class reunion.  Following a survey from almost 100 of our classmates, we have chosen the last weekend in September for the date and will be returning to the newly redecorated Holiday Inn at Campbell Rd and Central Expressway for our venue.

We will host several additional events this year for your pleasure and enjoyment.  On Friday night, September 29th, interested members of our class will be attending an Eagles’ home football game against the Pearce Mustangs.  We will be sitting as a group to add to the nostalgia of the evening.  For those not interested in attending the game, we will host an informal meet and greet at the Holiday Inn that evening and the football group will join that group once the game ends.

On Saturday afternoon, September 30th, we will enjoy a guided tour of the expanded RHS campus hosted by the school’s principal.  Many of us have not set foot in the building since our senior year and I have been assured we will be amazed at the new and expanded facilities.

Then later that day, all of us will reconvene at the Holiday Inn for an evening of fun, laughter, good food and fellowship as we reminisce and remember the years we spent at one of the greatest high schools in Texas history.

More details will be shared at a slightly later date but we wanted to give you plenty of time to set aside that weekend for our gathering.  Several of our nearby classes have attempted a 55th reunion only to have it cancelled due to lack of interest.  Let’s don’t let that happen to our class.  I can’t promise you this will be our last planned reunion, but I can and will promise you it will be an extremely enjoyable and fun event.

So mark your calendars now and click on the registration link in the upper left corner of the website to make your reservaton.

Warmest personal regards,

John Buchanan
